George Burt is a versatile filmmaker based in London whose career began as a cameraman back in 2001. He initially found his way into the industry learning his craft at Pinewood Studio’s where he worked on such blockbusters as “Batman Begins” and “Sahara” before graduating with a BA Degree in film production at the Arts University Bournemouth.
During this time George’s signature artistic vision and technical innovation brought him success in his collaboration with musicians such as N-Dubz, Ed Sheeran, Wiley, Tinchy Stryder, Toploader and Enrique Iglesias to name a few. He has directed, produced and shot over 300 music videos including the single “Ouch” which went on to break online records and won the coveted digital at the “02 Silver Awards” in 2007.
Since then George’s versatility spans the media spectrum from TV commercials, digital viral, BBC documentaries to feature film. His wealth of experience has led him to push boundaries as a cinematographer, over the last seven year George has worked closely with director Tom Paton and TPAKproductions on their growing global portfolio.
He continues to work as a producer and cinematographer in association with Mirror Productions. Most recent projects include the soon to be released movies “Petroleum Spirit” and “Pandorica”. The Film Label is George’s latest venture and he believes this company’s new way of film distribution is the future for independent filmmakers.
